Having eaten the CML rolls before and before that, also on my vacation in Falmouth / Maine, I developed a real liking to this delicacy. Living in Miami, it's a treat to go to Tropical when the "truck " is scheduled. However, THIS time a very small, but important (to me) difference, made my order a little less tasty! I ordered 2 order Maine rolls & 1 order Tacos & a Whoopie pie. The rolls this time were just plain HOT DOG buns ( over "griddled" ?!), not the usual nice, soft rolls, your menu mentions. So, please, if you raise the price (no problem there), keep the quality of the menu at least the same. Thank you for your attention. Andre B.

The service at the truck was fast and friendly. The portions were perfect and they didn't skimp on the lobster at all. I will definitely be a frequent customer when the truck is in my area!!!!

I've been seeing this food truck around different parts of broward county and wanted to check it out. Their app makes it's so easy to find where they'll be parked up each week. Caught them over at the Margate Sportsplex on a Friday night along with some other food trucks. I ordered the Maine lobster roll which comes chilled. The roll itself is pretty small, but meaty. The toasted bread has like a subtle sweet and buttery taste to it which was really good. The lobster was so fresh and tender. Inside the roll also had a tangy, creamy mayonnaise. Each bite offers a balance of rich, sweet lobster flavor with the satisfying crunch of the toasted bun, creating a delightful and indulgent taste experience. Super quick service, we didn't wait any longer than 5 minutes. Would definitely grab one of these again!

www.TheRagingFork.com I had the opportunity twice to try the Cousins Maine Lobster from one of their food trucks that came to my condo. Very cool looking food truck and easy to understand straight forward menu. I ordered the Lobster Roll, Lobster Bisque Soup and a Lobster & Cheese Sandwich all for two people. The food order was ready in about 10 minutes - was not busy. The Lobster Bisque was smooth and tasty as a top 3. The Lobster Roll $23 was very very good, filled to the rim with tender lobster but very very small. The Lobster and cheese $18 was a simple cheese sandwich with pieces of lobster which i dipped into the lobster bisque, which i highly recommend. Cheese Sandwich was tasty but average size, ate it in 6 bites. To be fully transparent, i am a big eater. Ok, the taste was there for sure but the price for the size was very high. Realistically, i would have purchased two lobster rolls if they were $20 each and same for the lobster and cheese at $15. Its a food truck, not a free standing building with 25 employees!!! So, if you want great tasting lobster this food truck is super tasty but offered at a premium, which most lobster is at, this food truck is for you.

This food truck was having an event in a nearby neighborhood so I figured I would give it a try. I was super excited because the food truck was featured on shark tank! I was the second person to arrive. The facebook post stated they were opening at 4:30, but when we arrived they stating they were opening at 5:00 pm. When 5:00 pm came around they stated they need 15 more minutes to open. This was kind of a disappointment since I go there at 4:30. When they finally opened everyone was greeted by the staff member; there ended up being a long line about 15 people. About 5 of those people placed online orders and were picking up. One women showed me her order was suppose to be ready at 5:00 and it still wasn't ready when they opened the window. The truck asked who was picking up first and had to ask them what there order was because there system was down. When it reached to be my turn there card machine was extremely slow it took about 10 minutes just to process by card. The food came out quick which was great. I ordered a Connecticut roll, and whoopie pie. The roll was $23 and the whoopie pie was $5. The roll was delicious it had great flavor. I understand lobster is expensive but I think the size of the roll wasn't worth $23. The whoopie pie reminded me of a moons pie it was good, it was huge and if you love chocolate you like it! Overall, I would try out some other menu items from this food truck/ restaurant. I took away a star off my review due to the miscommunication of time opening/ and slow cash register, and size of the rolls.
